International House of Beer?

IHOP seems to be taking a break from pancakes and burgers in favor of a new project, beer.

That’s right, IHOP has fused the fall season with breakfast for a pumpkin pancake stout. It’s brewed with pancake batter and will help promote it’s pumpkin spice pancakes.

Keegan Ales, who worked with IHOP on the brew, says that this stout is a blend of roasty stout flavors, pumpkin, vanilla and pancake batter.

Unfortunately, this beer is only available for a limited time and can only be found in New York. They only made about 20 barrels because they are planning on making it a festival brew.

In all honesty, I might just grab some pumpkin pancakes and head to a bar. I’d like to try this because I love pumpkin!
